Born and raised in Georgia, Elvis started singing and playing the guitar at age 9. He joined the army and served 13 months in Vietnam, after which he wrote and recorded "Vietnam Blues," which became a #1 hit. After leaving the Army, Elvis came home to Palmetto, Georgia, and designed the house of his dreams: The Guitar House located in Fayetteville, GA, where his mother Lois Carden resides. Over the past 2 & 1/2 years, Elvis has recorded 5 CDs. He received the Patriotic Album of the Year Award at the LSCMA 2000 in Beaumont, TX. The song "We Cry Together at the Wall" reached #17 on the charts, where it stayed for 16 weeks. Elvis has dedicated his music to public awareness of all Veterans; Past, Present and Future. Elvis' career is steadily growing, as radio around the world continually spin his latest hits.
