Artist's Bio
Joe Novak is an upcoming singer/songwriter from Chicago. Initially his music interests began with playing the drums at age 12, then at 17 picking up acoustic and electric guitar. Influenced by a wide variety of artists such as Dave Matthews, Wilco, Jason Mraz, Third Eye Blind, Social Distortion, The Pixies, Van Halen, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Ozzy Osbourne and Zakk Wylde (just to name a few), Joe has developed a playing style that is as unique as they come. While his music is catchy, it is simple, and his lyrics reflect the day-to-day struggles and rewards that life brings our way. Ranging from folk tunes to alternative sounding songs, Joe covers a wide spectrum of musical styles that everyone can relate to. Hopefully as you listen to Joe's music you can relate to what he writes about, and enjoy listening to his music as much as he enjoys creating it.
