Artist's Bio
Well, it all started back when I was only two years old. I began singing in a small country church with my family. The church stood forty miles outside of St. Louis, MO. That's the town I was born in, on November 12th, 1957. The gospel songs and hymns we sang in church, I thought, were beautiful. Church folks just got such a blessing hearing them all.
When I started singing, my first song was, "Wayfaring Stranger" originally sung by The Oak Ridge Boys.
I remember it so well, cause I could not say mother. I would say 'Mudder. It was just baby talk I guess and church folks really thought that was cute!
In 1967 I moved to Tucson, AZ and attended school there for much of my life. While attending school my grades were average. I enrolled in music classes somewhere along the way. That’s where I really felt the love for all different types of music.
When I was about 16 to 17 years old, my mother took me to local nightclubs where I would sing with local bands.
The songs I remember singing were R & B. That style was some of what I listened to mostly growing up.
Some song titles at that time were, "The Snake" by Al Wilson and "It's Too Late To Turn Back Now" by, The Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose. That was around summertime of 1972. Then I became an active singer in nightclubs.
In 1974 I enlisted in the United States Navy. For four (4) years. I was stationed in Norfolk, Virginia during that time and onboard an Aircraft Carrier named the USS America.
For those four years I traveled the world over.
While I was in Norfolk, VA, I sang at nightclubs also. The songs I performed were
"Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay" written by the late great Otis Redding. Another song I performed was titled, "My Pledge Of Love" by the Joe Jeffery Group.
In 1984, I had the honor to sing in Paris, France at a local nightclub. There I performed a Richard Marx song titled, "Right Here Waiting For You".
The French people really enjoyed listening to an American singing in their nightclub.
By 1985 I returned to the U.S. and discharged from military service. After I was married and began a family I decided I wanted to move out to California. I desired re-entry into the military service and could get stationed in San Diego there. I went but my wife had her family living in Orange County of Westminster CA.
At this time I had the honor once again to sing at a city wide concert for the Vietnamese people in a local park call Mile Square Park. I sang songs such as "Hello"
by L. Richie and "Careless Whisper" by Wham.
I also sung theses songs in local Shopping Malls etc, in Westminster, CA.
The place where I did allot of my singing is known as "Little Saigon". That’s where many of the Vietnam people kept up with their social life activities.
Since my second wife was from South Vietnam. I got to know the people very well and they enjoyed hearing me singing!
After I have completed my tour of duty in San Diego, CA, I was transferred to Long Beach, CA and was stationed onboard the USS Princeton.
Around 1990 to 1991 strife was heating up in the Persian Gulf. At that time my ship was dispatched over there for the Desert Shield, Desert Storm operations.
While over there, my ship took two mine hits and was heavily damage. We had to go into dry dock for repairs. As soon as we got the repairs made, we headed back home to the good old U.S.A.
In August of 1992 I retired from the U.S. Navy. That’s when I began my second career as a full time Singer/Songwriter/Entertainer.
Note: Please read my home page for all of my singing credits and songwriter credits also.
On this home page it will state all of my progress up until the present day. All the bands I sung with and songs I have written and had publish by Hilltop Records, and Starborn Records etc.

"Chuck Wagon And The Wheels" a well known Southern Arizona Band of the 1970's.
