Listen up Gente..
Here’s the first issue of Bologna Jazz Club, a retrospective of the best between sound library, nu-jazz, old skool funk, from the Great land of the Pasta al Ragu’.
The link between London and Bologna is very strong and you can see it, starting off with the excellent remix by by Indigo Jam Unit of ‘Spiral Waltz’, passing by the bossa of Nicola Conte and Marco Di Marco or the broken samba of Vipersquad, we notice how there is a thin line that joins old and new, like in ‘Greenleaf Street’ where the funk of Max Rocci bounds with the Hipnotic cinematic effect of the 70’s synths, or in the super rare tracks by Amedeo Tommasi and Farlocco, ready to be re-edit by some 21st Century vinyl junkie..
This is definitely an album that it’s gonna stay on the Ipods for a while, especially on those jet-off weekend down the beautiful Land of the sun..
…Happy listening & Enjoy
