Ladies and Gentleman, what a treat. When Mr Di Marco told us that he wanted to release his forgotten album at the Carnegie Recital Hall we were so thrilled.
With the help of Jack Really, and in memory of lost friends’ Bill Evans, this was the first concert of the US tour for Marco Di Marco.
The cd features some Di Marco’s classic with some cover of some of the artists that more inspired him in his carrier like Miles Davis & Bill Evans.
Marco Di Marco has performed 2 nights at the Jazz Café’ in November.
After that he be back in NY in April for a series of concert that will see him reunite with his fellow Americans.
On the records we have the beautiful liner notes of Marco himself and the best wishes of his good friend the Supestar ‘Tenor ‘ Luciano Pavarotti, that wrote some beautiful lines just after the concert.
This Concert was recorded on the April the 3rd 1981 in a nice evening in New York City.
