Part of a long-term collaboration between Cenacolo and Arision,
Amedeo Tommasi career is pretty incredible.
In 1961 meet Chet Baker, and starts touring with the famous trumpet (with musicians like Giovanni Tommaso, Franco Moldini, Santucci Scoppa, Bobby Jaspar)
His album ‘Zamboni 22’ is an iconic landmark in the record collecting market, like the album he recorded with Chet Baker in Italy during the 60’s and 70’s.
At the end of the 70’s Tommasi move towards music for film and soundtrack, he works for ten years with film director Pupi Avati, and off course he starts a long time collaboration with the newly-minted Oscar-winner Ennio Morricone.
He composes many electronic and jazz songs for the Maestro and participates at the creation of the film La Leggenda Del Pianista Sull'Oceano (The Legend Of 1900).
“The Sound” is a classic for all the collectors of jazz and brazilian sound library out there, typical 70’s Brazilian lounge sound that have made movies that takes you back to scene to the soundtracks of some Mastroianni’s film (ahhh .La Dolce Vita.. those were the years..).
Some of these classics will be remixed by new electronic artist like Yam Who, 4Hero..so watch out…
