I recently uncovered what is the last in-studio session I recorded in Sun Valley, Idaho – where I lived after I first got sober – but never released. I had a batch of new songs and I was excited about this new material I had written in sobriety. So I found a little recording studio in near-by Hailey, and this is what came out. This is the first version of “Hard to Love a Man” and the second version of “You Walked Away.” My Mini-Rock Opera “Computer Commuter” is the only rock opera I’ve written, so I decided to release it along with the Sun Valley tracks. As Ian Hunter once said “I’ve wanted to do this for yews.” “There ya go.” Best regards, Pete Holly
