True Stories, the latest release from producer/emcee Kruse, is a collection of intelligently crafted songs over smooth beats that are reminiscent of a hip-hop classic. Known primarily for his contributions to many renowned releases in the independent scene, Kruse returns to his lyrical beginnings while still producing the entirety of the record. Guest appearances include Living Legends members Eligh, Luckyiam and Sunspot Jonz, as well as Pigeon John of Quannum Projects.
