Reg Stokes has been a guitarist for over 35years. It all started with the arrival of The Beatles in 1964. Since then his influences have included artists such as: Phil Keaggy, Larry Carlton, Pat Metheny, Earl Klugh, George Benson, Dan Huff, & the guitar expressions of Boston.
Reg performed with successful Christian bands in the 70’s / 80’s such as Seeds & Ransom as well as much session work in several studios.
“In 1975 something happened to me that changed my life &
music forever…I met Jesus Christ through a ministry in Florence South Carolina called Reach Out.
I had fallen away from my walk with the Lord. It really took a toll on my life…but God is faithful & I was never happy or content during those years. Since recommitting my life to Christ, I’ve started playing again. I have met some awesome brothers & sisters in Christ, many of whom wrote songs on this CD.
My purpose for doing such a project as this is to share with folks my passion & my heart…I just want folks to come to know the Lord in a real & personal way.
To encourage folks to know that God cares!
