I’m a little concerned about using my credit card. Is this site secure?
Absolutely! We don’t want anybody to be worried about identity theft or fraud, so we make sure to use the most secure means possible to take orders. Pages where sensitive information is given (credit card number, address, etc.) are encrypted and secured. top
Will you ship internationally?
No problem! Of course, depending on where it’s at it may take a bit longer, but we’re happy to ship to you anywhere. Please be aware that if you are outside the U.S. all payments are in U.S. Dollars. top
I tried to listen to a sample, but it doesn’t work. What should I do?
First, check the samples of another artist. If you are having trouble listening to everybody’s samples, then it is probably an issue with your computer or internet service. If the samples of other artists work, but one artist or track in particular doesn’t, send us an email at samples@tarniusmusic.com right away (making sure to include artist name and album(s)/track(s) that are having problems) and we’ll have somebody examine the files to make sure everything is input correctly on our side and fixed ASAP. We appreciate your helping us fix any problems promptly! top
A track I’m interested in doesn’t have a sample clip. Why is that?
We cannot always play samples of covers because, while the artist has given us permission to play their music, we might not have the permission to play somebody else’s without paying. If the track is an original and does not have a sample clip, it is most likely because of its length. For a track to be given a sample clip, it must be at least 1:30 long. After all, we don’t want to give the whole song away! Please don’t let this stop you from checking out an artist’s other samples to get a feel for their sound! top

What is DRM, and does Tarnius use it?
DRM stands for "digital rights management" and it is essentially a way for companies to track digitally downloaded music and make it proprietary. In other words, it is a way for companies to force you to use their software with their hardware. We do not use DRM. We believe that once you buy the music it is yours, and you are free to use it however you want. You can use it with your MP3 player, burn it to a CD, or play it on your computer. You bought it, and it’s yours. top
Can I put Tarnius Music downloads on my iPod™ or Zune™?
Yes! You can use our downloads with any MP3 player because we do not use DRM (digital rights management). Once your file is downloaded, simply import it into your player’s software (i.e. iTunes™) as if it was a track you ripped from a CD you purchased. top
What is the audio quality of your downloads?
We try to give you the best audio quality possible. When an MP3 is created, it can be compressed at different rates of kbps (kilobytes per second). 128 kbps is considered "CD quality." We compress our downloads at 320 kbps, making it a bigger file, but one that is over double the audio quality of a typical MP3. top
