Tarnius Music is the sole owner of the personal information collected on this site. We collect and store personal information from our users only for necessary purposes, including but not limited to billing, delivery, payment, or customer service follow-ups. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.
Fan first names, emails, and locations (only city & state, not addresses) will be passed to artists whose music those fans purchase. This is for the benefit of the artist and their success, but any Tarnius users that are uncomfortable with this sharing are welcome to send us an email to fans@tarniusmusic.com asking that your purchases remain anonymous. Artists in this case would not receive any information about your purchase.

Public Artist Information
If you use Tarnius Music as an artist, you will be asked (but not obligated) to give an artist "biography." This bio will be made public on your band's profile page, so be aware of what you are listing. In addition, you may provide current information about your band (notes, tour, etc.) for public display on your page, but are under no obligation to do so. Tarnius reserves the right to edit any of this public material at any time if it is deemed inappropriate or offensive (please see our artist terms of service or contact us at artist@tarniusmusic.com if you have questions).
The info that you provide on your page will be publicly displayed on our website. By providing such info for public display on our site you recognize that it may be viewed, copied, or re-distributed by anybody who visits our website. Nevertheless, you retain any trademark rights of your band/song names and any copyright of your intellectual property.

Surveys and Contests
From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

Refer-A-Friend
If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask them for the friend's name and email address. Tarnius Music will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the site. Tarnius Music stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email. The friend always has the option to request the removal of this information from our database.
